Trieste

Trieste is a medium-to-dark blend, in spirit close to the earliest Italian café blends and named for the port city where Italy's coffee trade took root. Rich, concentrated, with more obvious strength than Blend No.1. Trieste suits all brewing methods, and we enjoy it at full strength — for pour over, drip or French press, 30g of medium-ground coffee (five generous tablespoons) to 300g of water. For espresso, we use 18g in, 44g out, over 31–34 seconds.
